ART HEALS DAY - SEPTEMBER 17, 10:00am -3 PM

Red Morton Park, adjacent to the Magical Bridge Playground

1455 Madison avenue, REDWOOD CITY

After 15 years of providing artmaking experiences to pediatric cancer patients and their families, Kids & Art is launching its first Art Heals Day on September 17. Bringing about greater awareness of the healing power of art, celebrating our kids, and growing a coalition of like-minded organizations, we plan to celebrate Art Heals Day every year on the third Sunday of September.

The first Art Heals Day will offer immersive artmaking experiences at Red Morton Park, adjacent to the Magical Bridge Playground in partnership with Redwood City Parks, Recreation & Community Services, Arts Redwood City, and the Redwood City Parks & Art Foundation. Magical Bridge Playground is not your typical playground.  The playground has some different rules than others, so please prepare for your visit by reading them here:    Magical Bridge Playground | City of Redwood City
