Programs for Care centers

Kids & Art Foundation provides free, ongoing art experiences to support families with children and youth in treatment for cancer and other critical medical conditions. Our understanding that participation in artmaking helps ease the stress, anxiety, and trauma endured children in treatment — while also allowing for joy, creativity, and self-expression — is at the core of all we do.

Amaeyzing artKits @ Care Centers

Amaeyzing ArtKits created by the Kids & Art Foundation are a collection of art projects designed to offer independent art experiences to pediatric patients as creative arts support during treatment. Each ArtKit contains all information and supplies needed to engage in the art project experience, as well as access to a pre-recorded instructional video.

GIFT OF ARTKITS - Giving PROGRAM

Each year Kids & Art Foundation provides monthly deliveries of Amaeyzing ArtKits to a select number of Care Centers nationwide, free of charge, through our Gift of ArtKits giving program. This allows Care Centers facilities to receive up to 40 ArtKits per month for pediatric patients in treatment for cancer and other critical medical conditions. In addition, up to 20 specially assembled ArtKits can be provided for BMT patients. Should a Care Centers need additional Amaeyzing ArtKits, those can be made available at a reduced facility rate. Why “Amaeyzing?” - Kids & Art Foundation is the legacy of our founder’s son, Amaey. He was always called Amazing Amaey by his friends, and that is how we coined the term “Amaeyzing” for many of the Kids & Art Programs. More about the Kids & Art story.
